ABOUT THE BRAND

Full Service New York, founded by Richard Vugmayster in 2020, represents a unique blend of luxury techniques and streetwear sensibilities, showcased through its ready-to-wear collections.

From a storytelling perspective, Full Service mirrors contemporary societal and personal narratives, rooted in Vugmayster's Brooklyn upbringing. This recurring theme seamlessly merges classic American representations with nostalgic and bright allusions, giving a direct visual commentary on New York's style and culture. Richard studied fine art, graphic design, and interior design at the School of Visual Arts and briefly worked as an interior design 3D renderer before beginning to pursuit fashion.

Without the formal rigors of fashion design schooling, Richard attributes his grasp of garments and construction to his grandmothers—one a tailor, the other an owner of a high-end European women's boutique. These influences laid the foundation for his ability to craft each piece and the compelling narratives embedded in each collection.

The Full Service narrative mirrors Vugmayster's personal evolution, capturing the transitions of personal growth and an entrepreneurial strive. This narrative thread continues to weave its way through each collection, with both the Creative Director and the brand maturing alongside its fans. The culmination of this journey is marked by the eagerly anticipated debut presentation at New York Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter 2023 Collection entitled "Contrasting Rationale".
